Heyo! I’m Shelby.
Therapist, Listener, Brain-Hacker
I’m not here to fix you—I’m here to sit with you in the mess and help you find your way through it. I bring warmth, irreverent humor, and honesty to therapy, because healing isn’t sterile—it’s human. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating identity, or just trying to stay afloat, I show up with compassion, patience, and zero judgment. Healing isn’t clean — it’s chaotic, courageous and absolutely yours.
My people? They’re often living with the impact of trauma or navigating life with a neurodivergent brain—ADHD minds, deep feelers, late-diagnosed folks trying to make sense of it all. Most are between 14 and 50, somewhere in the messy middle of becoming, healing, or rebuilding. They’re ready for change. Ready to show up, dig deep and build something real. Together, we work on showing up more fully, learning to live without the shame, and building lives that actually feels good—not just one that looks “okay” on paper.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in the belief that you already have the tools—you just might need someone to help you see them. I’m not afraid of the heavy stuff, and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. But I will be right there with you, for real.
I’m all about connecting, flipping curses into gifts, building skills that actually help, and rewriting stories that no longer serve you. My approach is eclectic and grounded—I pull from ACT, CBT, DBT, and even occupational therapy tools. No one-size-fits-all path here. Just what works, for you.
If we’re a fit, we’ll face the tough stuff together. If not, I’ll help connect you with the right support. We’ll try different tools, get creative, and keep going until things start to shift. You won’t have to do it alone.

A Whole-Person, Whole-System Approach
While individual therapy is at the heart of my work, I bring much more to the table. As a specialist in neurodivergent brains, trauma, leadership and business, I offer support that’s holistic and systems-aware. Whether I’m coaching a parent, advising a school team, helping a clinic run more sustainably, or consulting on neurodivergent-friendly environments, it all comes from the same belief: people do better when the systems around them do too.
I also care deeply about those who work in behavioral health. This field can be isolating, overwhelming, and under-resourced—and I want to be part of shifting that. My work with organizations is about helping businesses “live their best life” too—creating spaces where staff feel heard, safe, and able to show up fully.
What I Offer
🧠 Individual Therapy
Support for teens and adults navigating ADHD, trauma, burnout, identity, and life transitions. Sessions are real, reflective, and shaped by your pace.
👥 Parent Support
For parents of neurodivergent teens—space to process, strategize, and stay grounded while supporting your kid.
🧒 Childcare Coaching
I work with parents, caregivers, and childcare providers using the Rooted in Relationships model to support secure attachment, emotional regulation, and everyday connection. Whether you're navigating tantrums, sensory challenges, or just trying to feel more confident as a caregiver, we focus on attunement over perfection. This work is grounded, relational, and deeply human—because the little stuff is the big stuff.
💬 Consultation for Providers
Support for clinicians or educators working with ND and trauma-experienced clients—let’s talk nuance, systems, and human-first practice.
🎓 Teachings, Courses & Presentations
I offer workshops, trainings, and talks for schools, organizations, and community groups on topics like neurodivergence, trauma-informed care, and making mental health accessible and real. Each offering is grounded, engaging, and tailored to your audience’s needs—no fluff, just useful insight with heart.

Leadership & Systems Work
Before private practice, I was deep in the systems—building behavioral health programs from the ground up. I’ve designed and launched outpatient therapy services, integrative care models, oncology support programs within hospital systems, and in-school therapy services. I understand the complexity and bureaucracy and how to make things human again. Whether you're creating something new or trying to fix something broken, I offer consulting with clarity, creativity, and the clinical chops to back it up.
